Here in the city we'll visit: The cathedral - A very important Church built on Inca foundations - where we'll see the most important pieces of colonial art made by indigenous people.
The Temple of the Sun Qoricancha - where Incas had the most important place for worshipping the Sun, Moon, Stars and others Inca gods.
After visiting the city we will go up to the Archaeological park of Saqsayhuaman, in the higher part of Cusco,as well as we are going to visit:
The source of spring water Tambomachay - where the water was worshiped.
The Fortress of Pukapukara - where the Inca soldiers developed their skills for defending Cusco.
The remains of Q'enko - a stone made labyrinth with a sacrificial altar into the heart of it for worshipping Pachamama (Mother Earth).
Temple of Saqsayhuaman - where you will enjoy a wonderful view of the city of Cusco and be amazed by the huge lime-stones comprising the fortress.
Then head back down to the city where you'll be transferred back to your hotel.

Some people might get altitude sickness in Cusco. To prevent this, you must stay calm the first few hours until you have adjusted to the altitude. It also helps to chew coca leaves or/and drink coca tea.
